Paranormal Party Palooza Rolls On

All Hallow's Eve is just a handful of days away, and I feel re-energized and excited. I love to see the neighborhood kids in their costumes, their sack or plastic pumpkin ready for the great candy giveaway. I always give the parents a bit of candy too, because we're all little kids inside, remembering our own adventures in trick or treating. I don't ever want to lose that fun feeling and I don't want the parents feeling left out.

With that in mind, I would love to hear some of your favorite Halloween memories from when you were growing up or one with your kids. If you leave a favorite Halloween comment, you'll be entered to win the yummy treat pictured below.

In addition, the winner will also receive the paperback pictured here as well.

Contest ends Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at midnight. Good luck.

One of my favorite Halloween memories is from when I lived with my grandma when I was 12 years old. It was the first time I helped decorate the outside of a home for the kids in the neighborhood. My mom and dad never decorated, but my grandma did. The kids in the neighborhood loved it and we were one of the only houses on my block that had decorated that year.

Neat! I bet your grandma was the coolest ever. Sounds like you had fun. Oh and you're entered into my contest, too. :) I love those Remember When candy boxes, I only wish they put more candy in them! lol.

neat prize. I grew up in the 80's and this would bring back great memories. I remember when me and my bestie went trick or treating. She dressed up as an alien with green face paint and a motorcycle helmet covered in aluminum foil and homemade antennas. Was loads of fun.

Neat prize. I had kids in the 80s. Have to see what they remember. Halloween was more fun when they were little.

It's not one particular memory, but a tradition. When I was a kid my parents always brought us to my grandparents'. We would meet my aunt and cousins there and all go trick-or-treating together then to the Halloween party at the school.

Hi Debby. I think those are special memories too. I remember when my niece and nephews were little and they would dress up for Halloween. Good times and good memories of Halloweens past. Good luck in the contest.

Being an auntie myself, I know how special those memories are of being included in the family trick or treating with the wee ones. Got you entered and good luck!

My favorite Halloween memory is only 6 years old. My youngest son was so excited to go trick or treating, up until it was time to put on his costume. (he was a year and a half old at the time)

When it came time to dress up as a lion, he freaked and started crying. I have pics of him bawling as I tried to soothe him. When he found out there was going to be candy involved, his tears dried up, but going from door to door was a chore. He did get plenty of candy though, because the few people in the neighborhood that he did manage to get to, gave him lots.

Awww, poor kidlet. Hopefully dressing up for trick or treat no longer upsets him and he gets to enjoy the fun of it all, and of course, the candy. :-)

You're entered and thank you so much for commenting. Good luck!

My favorite memory is of my cousin Steven. He was dressed up like a leopard (he was probably five years old). For some reason, they had to pin his tail and he burst out crying. It took his mom and my grandma forever to explain to him that he didn't actually have a body part in the tail, so it couldn't possibly hurt him when they put the pin in. It was precious.

Yep only one winner for this contest. Random drawing among those people who left a comment talking about one of their 'favorite Halloween memories'. So you still have about 26 minutes left if you'd like to enter the contest, which ends at midnight tonight, eastern time.
