 Part of the eXclave series!

One night should have been enough.

Twenty-seven-year-old Lauren Brant is the perfect society wife. She hosts dinners for her husband’s colleagues. She attends charity functions. She’s entirely appropriate…except for her clawing need to submit to a man she knows only as Master.

Unable to deny her cravings, she arranges to meet Master. No names, no faces, nothing but submission and sensation. Except it isn’t enough. Even before the night ends, Lauren needs more.
But “more” isn’t part of the arrangement and she returns to her polished life only to discover her estranged husband has come home. After five years of being invisible to Jacob Brant, Lauren doesn’t know what to do with him. He, however, knows exactly what to do with her…

Naughty Noon Excerpt

Thought readers might like a little naughty to go with their lunch.*

*Please note the excerpt below is for 18+ yrs. old and may not be suitable to read at your office desk. Discretion is advised.

A guilty pleasure.
A wicked desire.
A lusty kink.
A hidden fetish.

Everyone has a few naughty little secrets. All of Stacie Purcell's secrets are in the red story binder she keeps in her messenger bag. An aspiring writer, Stacie dreams of the day her sexy stories will get published. But when she misplaces her binder, she is frantic, worried she'll never see it again. Desperate to get it back, she’s willing to do whatever it takes.

Tyler Murchison can't help noticing the cute little blond in his car repair shop's waiting room, her nose buried in her red binder. Closing up for the night, he discovers a not-so-innocent piece of paper and a mysterious messenger bag in the waiting room.

Intrigued by the drawings of sexual positions and the erotic fantasies Stacie weaves in her stories, he returns the binder, and offers Stacie a chance to experience all the incredible sexual delights she writes about.

But can a single night of wild, passionate sex lead to something more?

Tyler watched as Stacie came into the work area, and ran her fingers over the fin tail of a customer’s 1959 Chevy Impala.

“I like the old automobiles. They had more style and class, don’t you think?”

“They were beauties.” He laced his fingers through hers and tried guiding her across the garage bay and back to his office, but she pushed him back against the old car, her hands snaking around his neck as she kissed him.
He loved how she took control of the kiss, her hands caressing the back of his neck. Playing with the ends of his hair and tugging on his head the slightest bit. Maybe she wasn’t as shy as she’d first seemed and was really a tigress in lamb’s clothing.

When she came up for air, she began unbuttoning his shirt, smoothing her hands over his chest, and untucked the ends of the material from his pants. “Stacie, what are you doing?”
“Research. That is what you suggested, right? Tonight I want to learn all about auto erotica.”
Ty forced back a surprised laugh, wondering if he should explain and take a chance on exposing how naive she really was, or go with it and let her take him for a test drive? He almost made a corny joke about her riding his stick shift, when he realized her very industrious fingers had unbuttoned the fly on his jeans.
He groaned, gripping Stacie’s hips and tried turning her around. She countered by wrapping her legs around his waist, pressing her heat against him, and making him half crazy. Ty swooped down for another kiss, his lips and tongue plundering her mouth.

Remembering his dream from the night before, he swiveled with her in his arms, over to the next car in the garage, a blue mid-size, and took her hands in his own. Ty stretched her arms above her head.
“Don’t move.” Ty unbuttoned her blouse one-handed, glancing up at her to see her reaction. If she said no or stop, he’d have to honor her wishes. But he sure didn’t want to stop, no matter what he thought earlier about being a gentleman and taking it slow. Ty groaned, seeing the lacy cups of her bra and the soft, curved perfection almost spilling over the top. He straddled her, burying his face in the shadowy valley of her cleavage, pressing kisses along the satin contour.

Peter Jackson Live Event

Bear and I just got finished watching the live streaming event with Peter Jackson (LOTR, The Hobbit) and are excited and looking forward to The Desolation of Smaug coming to theaters this December. Not going to give away any spoilers from the sneak peek (for Hobbit2), but if you've read The Hobbit, then you know some of the great scenes that will most likely make it into the next movie.

We bought and watched The Hobbit yesterday, just so we could get the special code to watch Peter Jackson's live event today. Yes, hubby is a major geek and he converted me. lol.

My favorite scene from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Hobbit movie 1) is when the dwarves are washing the dishes, singing and tossing plates and bowls willy-nilly and not a one broken. It's a fun, comedic scene, almost Disneyesque. It plays very lighthearted, just as the first movie in LOTR did the same. The further you go into the tale, the darker it becomes. A perfect progression to the heart of storycraft.

Now I can't wait for December! Thank you for doing the live event, Mr. Jackson. My guy and I enjoyed the behind the scenes look at all it takes to produce such an all-encompassing movie like The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

I’ll be at the ‘mermansion’ in Second Life, reading from my erotic paranormal romance series Shifting Tides, on Sunday, March 24 at 2pm SLT (Pacific time), 5pm (Eastern).*

Headphones required, tail optional. Click the link below to hop on a seahorse and teleport to the event. Once you get to my merhome, simply touch the magical golden door and it'll open. Swim up the tube to the second floor and take a seat in the Storytelling Hall.

Remember to bring your headphones because the event is in voice.

My March Madness Fun

Yes, I've jumped in with both feet, deep into the whole March Madness. I love basketball (my dad took me to games as a kid. Anybody remember the Kentucky Colonels basketball team?), and college hoops are my favorite. This year feels really weird, since Kentucky isn't playing in the NCAA tournament, but thank heavens University of Louisville and Western Kentucky are playing. (If I forgot someone, no intended slight).

I would love to see Rick Pitino and UofL go all the way to the finals, but upsets are a part of basketball and the NCAA is no exception.

Want to fill out your own bracket? Go here and then come back and tell me which teams you think will be in the final four this year. My own picks are Louisville, Kansas, Indiana, and Ohio St. I'm rooting for Louisville all the way! GO CARDS!!!!

Want to see my NCAA predictions? Promise you won't laugh?

Irish Eyes

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope everyone is having fun and not getting sick drinking pints of green beer! lol

The only thing on TV right now is the movie Leprechaun (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107387/). It's so bad it's like a smack in the face to anyone Irish or under 4 foot tall. But if you're like me and your Irish eyes are smiling, check out these movies with an Irish touch.

One of my all time favorite movies fits this category - The Secret of Roan Inish (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111112), 10-year-old Fiona is sent to live with her grandparents in a small fishing village in Donegal, Ireland. She soon learns the local legend that an ancestor of hers married a Selkie - a seal who can turn into a human. Years earlier, her baby brother washed out to sea in a cradle shaped like a boat; someone in the family believes the boy is being raised by the seals. Then Fiona catches sight of a naked little boy on the abandoned Isle of Roan Inish and takes an active role in uncovering The Secret of Roan Inish.

If you're not into the magical and paranormal or mysterious, then my other suggestion is a classic, The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. A retired American boxer returns to the village where he was born in Ireland, where he finds love.(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045061)

If you want a touch of comedy with your Irish Stew, then give this old classic a try. Darby O'Gill and the Little People. The best part? Sean Connery in his prime. rawr (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052722)

Back In The Swing of Things

Since both January and February beat me down, I've decided that March is my new January. I have a writing goal set, plans for cool promo events, and will be back doing my Story Hour reading events in SL (Second Life). To kick off my restart for 2013, I'm having a contest this Thursday, so I hope you'll check back and enter to win.

Fans of my novella Naughty Little Secrets will be happy to know I've been writing a sequel. The currently untitled novella will feature Pam Purcell, Stacie's sister, and Tim Riley, Tyler's friend and business partner. Sometimes when you're looking for love, the best man was there all along.

Also in production is a new version of my short story Compulsion. More material has been added, plus some changes were made to enhance the story and make it into a longer novella. I hope readers will enjoy the changes.

I hope to meet my goals this year. *fingers crossed*

Until next time~
Cass
