The Unicorn Ring Quandry

Last night, my dh and I celebrated his birthday at Texas Roadhouse, him chowing down on a huge rib basket and me giving in to my inner carnivore with a sirloin steak. The meal was delicious and the service was good. I loved it when they came back to the table and all clapped and sang Happy Birthday to dh. lol.

Usually he's focused on the meal in front of him and not me, but one of my rings caught his eye and I told him to guess what it was, since the design is very fluid and almost Art Nouveau.  Most people don't realize it's not abstract, but an actual image.

Every time I wear this silver ring, I get compliments. Once I explain to people that it's a horse, they all think it's really neat.  Well, dh guessed it was a unicorn. I told him, nope, it's a horse. He disagreed and said, "I see the horn. It's a unicorn."  Granted my eye-sight isn't what it used to be, but I know it's a horse since it was sold to me as a horse ring.

I figured that was the end of it, but this morning, I'm checking my inbox and see the photo pictured above. Dammit, I hate it when he's right. The thing is a bloody unicorn.  The real question I have now is, why are my fingers so damn shiny? lol

I tells ya, I swears I thought that was one of the horse's ears, lol. Oh and I learned why my fingers are so shiny in the picture. Bear's cell phone camera had it's flash on for dim lighting. Very glad, because I was beginning to worry I'd collected another weird rare disease or something, sheesh. lol
